Laboratory Services
Should your veterinarian determine that laboratory tests would prove useful as a diagnostic tool, Vista Veterinary Hospital maintains an in-house lab for those cases when immediate results are needed. We have relationships with professional outside laboratories with state of the art capabilities and can provide any tests needed.
Vista Veterinary Hospital's diagnostic imaging department consists of a 300mA x-ray machine for radiographing full body thickness imaging. We use rare earth x-ray cassettes to get the most detailed images possible.
We also have a 7mA dental x-ray unit for radiographing teeth.
Ultrasound imaging is another useful diagnostic tool in veterinary medicine. For our patients that need this, we refer them to an ultrasound specialist.
